When you're running a stroker, a V8 swap, or a heavily-modified engine in your Jeep Wrangler JK, factory hood clearance and heat management become real problems. The Smittybilt Vented Hood solves both. Part of Smittybilt's Heat Management Series, this direct-fit replacement hood adds 4 inches of engine clearance for V8 conversions and other engine swaps, while heat-extracting inlets and side vents pull hot air out of the engine bay to improve cooling and dissipate under-hood temperatures.

Beyond the function, it looks the part - aggressive vent styling, pop-out side vents you can customize for your build, and a thick underbody insulation mat to keep heat off the paint. The hood ships in a 0.2mm black finish e-coat that's ready for paint out of the box, and uses OE hardware, factory hood latches, and factory hood mounts for a bolt-on install.
