With soft valving and not much fluid capacity, the OEM shocks quickly fade and blow through their travel on even moderately rough dirt roads. Fox's Performance Series shocks are the solution. With large 2-inch diameter bodies, they are a big step up from the factory shocks. Inside of those bigger cans are larger pistons for more damping force. More shock fluid also keeps temperatures in check and eliminates shock fade. Valving specific to the F-150 ensures that both compression and rebound are good to go right out of the box.
