The Toyota Tundra comes severely underdamped from the factory with not much rebound and compression control. That lack of control lets the full-size Toyota quickly blow through its suspension travel at anything above a crawling pace in the dirt. The result is lots of bottoming out, getting tossed around in the cab, and a rough ride. Fox's Performance Series shocks eliminate this lack of control and are a massive upgrade over the factory shocks. The Performance Series shocks 2-inch diameter bodies allow for more fluid capacity for better cooling and a bigger piston area for more damping force. Fox has also taken the time to dial in the compression and rebound perfectly for the Toyota Tundra.
