The 3rd Generation Toyota Tundra Covert Front Bumper is an innovative addition to our Tundra bumper lineup. The design is specifically engineered to match the factory body-styling of the truck while enhancing protection and durability with a superior bumper system that’s full of features. Hiding in this compact structure, you’ll find an integrated winch mount constructed from ¼ steel, fitting a winch as large as 12,000lbs. You’ll also find ultra-strong D-ring recovery points that align directly to the vehicle’s frame for maximum strength in tough spots. Additionally, there is a 20” lightbar mount integrated seamlessly into the design to keep your way lit without extra hardware. This bumper requires a minimal amount of trimming to the truck’s factory front end, but the two-piece design makes installation super simple with the right tools. A:Â Fits most winches up to 12,000 lbs. Winches with a non integrated solenoid are recommended as they offer more mounting flexibility.Â
Q: Why is this bumper not offered in aluminum?Â
A:Â Our covert bumpers are designed designed to offer a ton of strength in a compact space and as such we prefer to manufacture them out of steel. All of our covert bumpers are compact enough that weight is kept to a minimum even with the steel construction.Â
Q: How much does this bumper weigh?Â
A:Â This bumper weighs 85lbs before installation of a winch and light bar.Â
Q: Does this bumper require cutting?Â
A: Yes, the installation of this bumper does require trimming of the plastic factory bumper.
